What if the power goes out? How will you filter your water then? This water filtration system requires nothing but gravity, no electricity required for this one!
This is the best portable gravity water filtration unit and the best 400 bucks you will ever spend my friend, or maybe you spend a little more and get a larger size. I bought the 2.25 gallon version which is not too big, not too small and was about 400 bucks. Just a great idea to have one of these, in case the power goes out and you can’t distill your water. Also great for traveling and emergency situations.

NUff said, no wait…one more thing…
I’ve never seen a filter this good in all my born days, this is definitely the very best portable non electric water filtration unit I have ran across with my in-depth research over the years. Removes 100 percent of Lead, and other elements as well. This is just a partial list of stuff it filters out though. It filters out a lot of other stuff I’m looking into that now so check back periodically for my latest findings and research.
I’m going to be adding to this page in the coming days but this is a really exciting product to own and a real no brainer for me.
What could be more important than your water quality?
Have you ever seen close up photos of complex organic molecules floating in a typical water sample from your area? (also known as microscopic shit, literally in many cases) It’s gross, you can see it in there, it’s real, it’s not a conspiracy theory or something. You know what ELSE is not a theory? Water is extremely important and one of the most important things in your diet by far. Nobody is even trying to disagree with this one, it’s so commonly agreed upon that I can’t think of anything else in the world of health that is so commonly agreed upon. Water and water quality are supremely important for the quality and length of life on earth. Don’t believe me? Of course you do! It’s not really being debated anywhere on this planet by anyone. Drink lots of water, drink high quality water. I will go even further and say, drink lots of water, drink the BEST water you can possibly manifest in your life circumstance.
If you are forced to drink straight tap water, get it tested or look at in under a microscope yourself. After that, you might figure out a way to pay for it. Figure out a way. You may not be able to get the 1000 dollar osmosis system, or the 5000 dollar alkaline machine, but at least scrape enough together for the Big Berkey and you won’t regret it. I’m telling everyone, it’s great for road trips and camping too. Thing is, it’s hard to find systems that remove ONE HUNDRED percent of these heavy metals and other nasty stuff. It may not get all the aluminum (78%) which is unfortunate (and a whole other research project now) but it DOES get 100 percent of the Lead and the Arsenic and many of the radioactive elements as well.

These guys definitely have some big ass tanks and stuff, but these reverse osmosis machines aint too cheap! They are marking these things WAY up I think. I found the same thing in Amazon for way less.
These look like the same thing they are selling, but way cheaper! BOO Ya! I don’t personally use reverse osmosis machines but I might pick one up at some point to try it. I’d probably put this under the sink and then pump that water into another machine. That’s how I roll.

I like his explanation of the dish washer hazards. I’d order some of his dishwasher stuff if I had a dishwasher which I don’t. If you have a dishwasher, you might want to get some of his safe soap, he’s right about the toxic bomb that is going on there for most dishwashers I think he’s right about that, I’ve been hit by that bomb a few times visiting wealthy friends perhaps.
Trash your nasty automatic dishwasher soap, oh man. This needs to be it’s own separate post really.

Grab Green Automatic Dishwashing Detergent, Thyme with Fig Leaf, 60 Loads
Grab Green Automatic Dishwashing Detergent, Tangerine with Lemongrass, 60 Loads
In summary. Think carefully about every step in your water flow. What is your flow?
Are you brushing your teeth with really crappy water, and swishing God knows what around in your mouth? What about that steam coming out of that dishwasher, is that a highly toxic cloud? Are you showering in chlorine gas every time? Most of all, what is the very best water filtration unit? That has been my quest and remains my neverending quest. If tomorrow someone released something twice as good and twice as delicious, I would start saving up and get that one too! Get into it! Get the BEST quality water and foods. Don’t skimp when it comes to water and food. More and more I am leaning away from sub-par food and water. If you have to drink bottled water, by the way, drink Evian or Fiji water, those are the best options if you are grabbing a bottle or two. If you must, then so be it. I would advise moving away from buying bottled water at all as a near future goal. There are far too many dire consequences from the production of these water bottles yikes. If you must buy bottled water, be sure to recycle. Sometimes you have no choice I guess, and Evian sure is tasty.

Water is a huge topic and a huge discussion and for me a huge learning process and research project with a very high priority for me and my family. Here is more information on the topic of water and water filtration.
Keywords: | Description: |
filtration system | Two main types of filter media are employed in any filtration system— surface filter, a solid sieve which traps the solid particles, with or without the aid of filter paper (e.g. Büchner funnel, Belt filter, Rotary vacuum-drum filter, Cross-flow filters, Screen filter), and a depth filter, a bed of granular material which retains the solid particles as it passes (e.g. sand filter). |
water filters | A water filter removes impurities from water by means of a fine physical barrier, a chemical process or a biological process. Filters cleanse water to different extents for purposes like irrigation, drinking water, aquariums, ponds and swimming pools. |
water systems | If you don’t know what’s in your water, you don’t know what needs filtering out by your water system. Decide if you can use a do-it-yourself kit or if you’ll need to hire a professional to test your water. DIY testing kits that can be found at home improvement and hardware stores are adequate for identifying the presence of some of the most common contaminants |
water treatment | Water treatment involves science, engineering, business, and art. The treatment may include mechanical, physical, biological, and chemical methods. As with any technology, science is the foundation, and engineering makes sure that the technology works as designed. The appearance and application of water is an art. |
water filtration system | The accepted definition of “pure” water for most water industries is water that is free of bacterial components. The definition does not include chemical contaminants. The EPA, also, has defined pure water as water free from all types of bacteria and viruses. A water purification system, then, would remove all bacterial components from water without attending to undesirable chemicals and minerals. |
drinking water filter | Water purification is the removal of contaminants from raw water to produce drinking water that is pure enough for human consumption or for industrial use.Substances that are removed by a drinking water filter during the process include parasites (such as Giardia or Cryptosporidium) , bacteria, algae, viruses, fungi, minerals (including toxic metals such as Lead, Copper etc.), and man-made chemical pollutants. Many contaminants can be dangerous—but depending on the quality standards, others are removed to improve the water’s smell, taste, and appearance. |
